Power Saver Rewards: The More You Save,
The More You Earn

The Power Saver Rewards program incentivizes California residents to get a credit on their electric bill for reducing energy use during a Flex Alert. Flex Alerts occur when there is an anticipated shortage of energy supply. Conserving energy during a Flex Alert can help reduce the frequency of power outages.

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) created the Power Saver Rewards Program to incentivize customers to conserve energy to benefit vulnerable communities, reduce the possibility of a power outage, and get rewarded through energy bill credits.

Who Can Register for Power Saver Rewards?

Customers of Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) are generally eligible to participate.

How Do I Register for Power Saver Rewards?

Go to PowerSaverRewards.org to register for Power Saver Rewards. Registering only takes a couple of minutes. After registering, you will receive a notification when a Flex Alert is called.

How Much Can I Earn with Power Saver Rewards?

Utility companies use the difference in your average energy use and how much you reduce your energy use during a Flex Alert to determine how much money you earn in the form of a credit on your electric bill.
