Inyo County Sustainability Series 2025
The High Sierra Energy Foundation is partnering with the Inyo County Free Library to host the Inyo County Sustainability Series, delivering workshops and facility tours focused on sustainability in one of California's most rural, hard-to-reach counties.
The first event in this series is a tour of the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, an incredibly special place with nearly 30 endemic species - and also the site of a proposed lithium mining project. The walking tour will take participants to various sites within the refuge and explore the environmental impacts of the proposed mining project.
Please check back for more information on tours and workshops - details will be made available as events are scheduled.
If you are interested in partnering with us to host an event this spring, please get in touch with Jess Blackwell at blackwell@highsierraenergy.org.
